AI content review: turn readable drafts into grounded publications
Check product claims, quotations, examples, links and language consistency before treating an AI draft as approved business content.
Which parts of AI-written articles and marketing copy need human review?
Start with the reader’s task, then verify each checkable claim. Google’s generative AI guidance emphasizes accuracy, quality and relevance, including review of titles, descriptions and structured data. Review the whole publication package rather than the body text alone.
Map claims to evidence
List capabilities, dates, numbers, customer names, certifications, quotations and comparisons. Connect them to approved records. Remove unsupported claims, keep them pending or label an illustrative assumption clearly. The reviewer must be able to open the evidence and verify its scope and date.
- Give numbers units and periods
- Do not invent customers or expert identities
- Separate hypothetical examples from real results
Check whether the content solves a task
Match the title’s promise to the body. Test instructions, meaningful table fields and destination links. Replace unsupported adjectives with useful explanations. Referencing another source is not enough by itself: contribute an original example, analysis or practical method.
- Provide value without requiring a sales contact
- Give instructions inputs and expected outcomes
- Use descriptive, accurate link text
Worked marketing-copy review
Suppose the record confirms only “Japanese subtitles can be prepared from authorized materials.” A draft adds “officially certified,” “24-hour delivery” and “guaranteed overseas revenue.” Remove those unsupported claims and explain materials, specifications, review and the schedule still to confirm. This illustrates review, not a client engagement.
- Check every added claim against records
- Separate conditions needing confirmation
- Update title, summary and image captions too
Keep a publication approval trail
Record version, asset sources, reviewer, date and unresolved issues. Compare numbers, conditions and brand wording across languages so translation does not expand a promise. Verify live presentation and links afterward, log corrections and assign an appropriate review date.
- Approve a specific page or file version
- Preserve conditions in every language
- Retain corrections and the next review date
Before you hand over the work
- Connect factual claims to evidence.
- Review metadata together with the body.
- Useful content gives practical methods and clear boundaries.
Demonstration projects and examples illustrate working methods. Follow the receiving party’s specifications and the scope agreed for your project.
